Error messages

Hey i'm having a error message pop up when I sign into yahoo messenger then try to play solitaire.....HP windows 98 computer...............

my pops says...........Sol
An error has occured in your program. To keep working anyway, click Ignore and save your work in a new file. To quit this program, click Close. You will lose information you entered since your last save.
then I have the option the click CLOSE or INGORE
I click close and I get another pop up that says

Sol
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the program vender.
then I have the option to click CLOSE or DETAILS>> and I always just click close

when I do it will close out solitaire when I open it and yahoo messenger is on it does the same thing over and over.........

So if anyone knows whats going on with this thing PLEASE let me know.....

I've had the same problem with mouse software and Solitaire on a '95 machine.

There must be a conflict of some kind between Yahoo and the game. Have you tried uninstalling Yahoo Messenger and then reinstalling it ? It's worth a try.

What version of Yahoo messenger have you got? is it up-to-date?
The next suggestion would be to update Yahoo or downgrade to an earlier version, dependent on the one you are running.

When it comes to the point of CLOSE or DETAILS click on details and get the error report for us. The answer to the problem is often found in the DETAILS of the report.

I had the same problem at one time and a complete uninstall and reinstall of Yhaoo sometimes helped.

Ok I have uninstalled and reinstalled yahoo messenger and its still doing the same thing....

When I click details it says.......
