laptop boot

i got the laptop to restore the operating system. thanks for help.


i used the info i gathered.
start pc with 98 startup disk and boot to cd rom support promt.
startup disc went thru diagnostic mode.....took the cd rom host
of d:to e:.
at the a prompt. i went as follows:
A:>e:
E:>E:/win98
E:>setup
windows took off and ran restore.....lost some of the drivers to system but with all the other troubles at least freind can run unit.
