Zipping a txt file eBook. . .

I'm pretty sure most ebook files have so many copyproof features that your not going to be able to massage it to a text file or a printer. I tried an emagazine last year and could do nothing with it, even a simple cut and paste failed. No problem to view or read-- and thats it

This should be quite easy,

Right click on the ebookname.exe file and point to Winzip in the popup.
Select Add to ebookname.exe from the next popup.
That will start Winzip select I agree and then OK.
You should now have a zipped file in the same directory as the original ebookname.exe file.

If you are looking for a good free zip program you should try Ken Wards Zipper. I have not used it since I got WinRAR full. Ken Wards Zipper was easy to use and seemed to be very stable.

I could be wrong (and I am wrong now and always), but ebooks that I have downloaded, check your SID's (system ID's) and refuse to open on a machine that doesn't have matching SID's.

If you do zip and send it, can the other person open it? I haven't had any such luck
