Hi, PC Guy,

first off, I like this forum - otherwise I wouldn't be here right.
one question : the last half year, i've been thrown out of this forum several times due to the fact the system did not recognise me anymore. I did not delete any cookies since, or other things. So what is happening here? I do not have this problem with other forums, so maybe you put a virus in your system to block off certain users after a time heh?

just kidding, but i would like to know what could be the cause of this strange behaviour - or is it something on your side?

Cookies expire. That's usually why you have to log in again.

(i think you explained me that before) but I wanted to know how this comes on this forum, and not on others; so i believe you must have a setting or such in the forum software causing this. And is it not possible to change it? (i believe i can change the date of the cookie out here)

Because the site has been victimized by hackers in the past, I have set the limit on the cookie to what it is. Its in all of our best interest. If you visit ever day you should get an expired cookie.
