What is your favorite graphic design tool, and why?

mine is most definetly photoshop, because it can be used for so much. In my opinion it is the most versatile graphic program out right now.

Id say Paint Shop Pro. There is a lower learning curve with it, and its easy as pie to do things with. I wouldnt expect it to create some masterpieces like graphic artists turn out, but it does most simple things with great ease.

It also doesnt take 15 seconds to start up :)

i have several friends who swear by PSP, and i used it myself when i started graphic design. there is also the issue of price, Adobe is something 800$, while im sure psp is not as expensive. there are ways around photoshops price, but we will not go into that here...

very nice work. do you do this professionally, or just as a hobby? you definetly have the skills to work on a proffesional level. i haveent ever done much with 3dsm, aside from a few apple and orange tutorials, but as i see what people can do with it, i am quickly becoming more motivated to take it up.
