msn groups

Postby poisonedchalice » Wed May 12, 2004 11:18 am

I don't know how many of you know about, or are members of an msn community group....but I found a site that offers a free games room for web sites (www.miniclip.com) that I wanted to add to an msn group.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to get the coding to work with the msn pages. I'm guessing maybe that msn groups use different programming to a 'normal' web site, and this is why it won't work?
As you might have guessed, I have absolutely no knowledge of this subject!!!! Image lmao

Sorry if this problem is so brief, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about, n what I can do about it, shout out!!!! lol

Ta!

If I remember correctly isnt there a button on the left side of the page that says "links" ? You should be able to just copy and paste the link into that page. I used to use msn groups until I found Yahoo Geocities. It has fairly good and easy html editors and you have a much wider variety of options to work with. Daniel

yep, there is a links page, but thats the easy option huh?!!! lol I like life complicated!
The coding thats given is sposed to be pasted/integrated onto/into the web page, but when I try it with the msn page it just comes up all gobbldygook (html?????Image not sure!!!)

If all else fails I'll stick a link on the links page, but I won't be happy!!!!!

Its been so long since I messed with msn groups but I believe there is a section that tells you what msn allows and doesnt allow. I remember embeds of midi's were not allowed but i forget what else.

Im not too sure but you could try this code. You may want to change the font colour though from black to blue. I used this code in my Ion Thunder game site except the site name is to my personal site not miniclips.

<A HREF="http://www.miniclip.com/Homepage.htm" TARGET="window"><font color=black>http://www.miniclip.com/Homepage.htm</a>
