i'm looking to ceate some graphics. does anybody know any decent software that is pretty cheap. or available to download. i'm still in school so havent got much money.

you could look at paint shop pro which has a free trial.

if you want something totally free, you could go with the open source project GIMP. gimp is baisically layed out the same as photoshop, but is a totally free project that the open source community is developing.

ive got a 30 day free trial with macromedia fireworks mx 2004. can you tell me if that is any good. i will use that until the trial is up anyway.

I like paint shop pro which has animation shop bundled with it (not sure if trial version does) but for a free app,gimp is awesome.I have macro fireworks but havent used it enough to know what its capable of,psp has a better interface.
