Nope, not the hours. Doin' that now.
Only if I truely hated it or I was not respected, would I quit.

The last time I quit a job was 6 years ago.
I was working 12 hours shifts, 3 day shifts then 3 night shifts with one day off and then back to the day shift.
After doing that for a year I ended up having a heart attach and 2 angioplasties with stints.
Eight weeks later when I was released to work light duty,
they tried to put me back on the same shift rotation.
I quit and later I won the unemployment claim.

FWIW -- I have had jobs with longer hours than 60/week at lousy pay that I loved, and 3 hours a day/4 days a week jobs that paid great that I hated.

I have quit jobs that, when I went home after the day was done, I could say to myself that I have wasted my time -- regardless of how long the day was.

Bu, in my line of work, the gig is usually over before anyone has a chance to quit!

I work for a service company. We fix PC (x86) servers (windows, novell, unix, linux) RS6000 stuff (big igm servers with motorolla processors - aix operating system), printers (laser, inkjet, thermal, shuttle, band), and scantron machines (you know, you took tests with #2 pencils before).

Right now, every tech has to know everything. I could walk in and have to fix one of almost 2000 different printer models, servers from compaq, dell, gateway, or local computer shop with who-knows-what operating system, or scantron machines from single sheet hand-feed units to 5000 sheet capacity scaners.

If they would go for copier contracts, and I'd have to fix them too, i think i'd be out-of there. Not too crazy about check scanning systems either (they are considering those too)

When I was a nightshift manager, I used to work 12 hour nights, 5 days a week, all physical work. After 3 years my long service was due, so I told them to *&($ OFF, and quit on the spot. After a month doing nothing I put on 15kg
