beowulfs, clusters, & nodes, oh my!

Hi guys,

Im considering a beowulf setup using Mandrake 10. The concept behind my madness is a gaming server but im uncertain if its possible to do so. The only things i've seen this type of system applied to was a database enviroment or special MPI apps. Im curious to know if anyone attempted to do the same or simular and found success. Im still researching and havent tried to get one running yet, i have 2 small machines that im going to dedicate to this on standby. I may start installing linux on each of them this evening. If anyone has played with this at all or just has random input, by all means, throw it in.

So I did some reading about beowulf setups and it sounds interesting.
