Ops are equivilent to mods

now that your all set up,im sure we will eventually cross paths

Now,for mIRC its not all that different.Obviously download and install it.

Now you need to set up the options.

First up is your info,on the connect option type in your name,email and nick

Next is server settings,The IRC network is Astrolink and IRC Server is Astrolink:Random Server

After this is set click "Connect to Server"

Last is to join the channel by typing #pctech in the box as shown below.

Then click join

There's WAY more to IRC but this is the quick way to get in the room with us.Hope it helps some

Ok, I've downloaded irc, managed to connect (easy peasy! lol)
But coz I'm quite anal sometimes, I read the small print!!! What do they mean when they say....
'by connecting to this network you give us permission to probe your machine for open proxies/wingates'??
...I'm not sure I wanna be probed?! lmao

And YES PCGuy, I'm gonna try and make some time to get there n chat!

Not gonna be easy tho!

well, I just sort of poked my head round the door! lol I had to make sure I was connected properly didn't I?! lol

So why do they want to probe Dolly?

Dolly is only getting partially probed. (Sounds nasty huh?) It's just to make sure you don't contain anything nasty that could affect the server. Quite normal and harmless.

Thats ok then, I'm sure Dolly won't mind at all! It was just the way it was phrased!

When's the proposed 'meeting of minds' gonna be then? Are you waiting for more responses on this thread before you/we all decide? And is it gonna be a regular thing or just a 'pop in when you can' kinda thang?

Most importantly tho....do we have to supply our own biscuits/cookies or should I bake a cake for everyone to share?!

This is what I do. I hang out in the chan all the time. I never leave. (sounds kinda obsessive huh?)

So I was thinking that we can set an online date and time that everyone shows up to. But also, if you just want to swing by and make fun of me, that is okay too.

So who wants to pick a day and time?
