can anyone hear the audio on this video clip?

Postby liljim » Fri Mar 02, 2007 3:02 am

I've been trying to play this news clip concerning a friend of mine and i cant get any audio from it in firefox or IE. Im running media player 10 and didnt really want to upgrade to 11 but i was wondering if theres a different wmv codec in 11 that im not aware of. I was hoping someone would test it for me and see if it plays for them.

Just to explain the video, its about televangelist who rip off people with the ridiculous notion that if you send them money you will be healed of your illness. My friends mother sent tons of money without telling anyone, assuming that if she sent enough she would be healed of cancer. She sadly passed away leaving diaries that exposed what happened to her.

liljim,

I can hear the audio just fine, the mothers name was Bonnie Parker and I'm using windows media player 10.

This is such a sad story, my heart really goes out to her survivors.

It's just one more reason why I am so against any form of organized religion.

organized religion is a joke, as you say, this is just one more reason to feel that way.

I cant get audio for anything, i can hear the audio on the commercial that plays right before the actual clip but nothing from there. I was wanting to download the stream and put it on disk for Christy (the daughter) but its useless without sound. She's on dial-up and cant watch it at all.

Christy brought me a dvd with a full documentary of her mom's story and several others thats just unreal. Its targets SEVERAL "profit preachers" and the legal system that backs them. its amazing that they can do what they do and be completely shielded from law.

That is the kind of thing that just irks me to no end...

If there is a silver lining to this, it is this: They are going to burn a turd somewhere....

Three guesses where, and the first two don't count.

Best wishes
