Making bitlord faster?

Postby rohaninabout » Wed Mar 07, 2007 4:19 am

hey there, im using bitlord for torrent downloads.. and i used to download on dial up (around 3-6kb/s max). im now im broadband and the download speed barely changes? the most ive ever downloaded was 40 kb/s but that was a one off, i now download usually around the 5-8 kb/s mark. anyone know how to make this faster? ive done a port foward.. hasnt changed anything tho.

cheers.

theres not much you can do, its all based on how many people are seeding the file and what their internet speed is. I use bitlord too and it varys for me alot but its the same with any torrent client, i've tried a few of them. The only time i get a good transfer rate is when 20-30 people are seeding it.

i always find the best way is just to give it time. IF people are using it properly and seeding then you'll get good speed after a while :)
